INSIDE STORY — AUTHORITY REBRAND
Authority magazine was launched as a revenue-generating publication for a leading, global IT distributor. This case study highlights how I approached Authority's identity transformation from a legacy communications vehicle into an industry-leading digital community. Remaining flexible through the early digital transformation years, I was responsible for rolling out the visual identity of an all-new, all-digital version of Authority.

As information consumption models changed, ad revenues from Authority's print edition shrank. An identity refresh, a digital viewing platform, and a more transparent PPC (pay-per-click) ad model made for a successful release of the new digital publication.

Five years later, Authority transformed once again. This time into a blog forum hosting actionable advice content pieces aimed at technology resellers. Serving as managing editor, I headed content ideation, oversaw the editorial calendar and managed contributing copywriters.
